The Plot Thickens

If you were wondering if it couldn't get much worse in the Middle East...it can!

  1. I have no doubt it is going to get much worse. I think the world needs to have it's eye on Pakistan and India. I think that is where the next nuclear exchange will happen.

    I wonder if a NATO partner (Turkey) can do this without the consent of the USA in some part.

  2. As you know, Turkey won't tolerate a strong Kurdish presence on its borders. NATO or not, they hate the Kurds.

    And I have said many times...the most dangerous nation is Pakistan. A nation armed with nuclear weapons and the latest conventional weapons (from the USA) and they are ruled by a hated dictator who is one small step away from assassination by many splinter groups of illiterate fundamentalists.

    Our track record on backing dictators is not that good. For some odd reason, the people seem to resent it.

  3. Part of our problem is our Billy Graham foreign policy. We don't just want to liberate Iraqi's from Saddam we want to make them baptist as well.
