A few comments about my earlier comment regarding Al Gore, “…he is extremely intelligent and a man of many interests, with words and thoughts to share. My kind of guy!” That made me think about my old friend, my ex-boss, Gordon Pinsky. He was, is, very intelligent with many interests and far too many words to share. OK, I’m perpetuating a bit of slander there. Gordon does talk a lot, but most of what he says is fascinating. And I do miss the mental exercise I used to get when talking with him. It was like taking your brain out for a long hike over both familiar and unfamiliar terrain. You never knew where you were headed, but you knew you were going to have fun getting there!
