This is a real break. There is no wind this morning. Oh, sure, there is a breeze; a zephyr, but it’s nothing compared to what was. And I’m not hearing a lot from the scanner. It’s been 45 minutes of silence and just now, the first thing I’ve heard is a report of a pit bull that’s loose. OK, that’s better than having to hear about more fires. Dogs running loose are a much better news story!
