The fire command 'chatter' has returned as the sky turns silver in the east. Not good. All the voices are saying that without air support, they are helpless along some fronts. The terrain is being described as 'beyond mountain goat' and a direct assault won't be attempted. Clark Road is threatened as the fire moves south.
The good news is that the voices we hear are all very cool and professional. Telling it like it is!
