On the good side of the day; on a positive note…I started reading The Black Swan by Nassim Nicholas Taleb. Apparently, this is the book I was meant to read. It starts out with mention of Umberto Eco; one of my favorite authors. I have just started the book, but I already have an urge to underline and highlight certain passages. Yikes! It’s a library book…must restrain myself.
I remember the stir this book caused when it came out last year and I do remember an NPR interview (
I guess this is a warning; I'm sure I will be posting observations and comments about/from the book for the next week or so.
I've read that book. It changed my way of thinking about a lot of things.
