I may be wrong, but I have a feeling that it’s going to be a dangerous time in the months ahead for any incumbent elected official facing a challenge. Anyone, absolutely anyone running on a platform of ‘change’ has the full attention of the electorate. No matter our political preferences; after a week of watching our retirement funds go down the drain and our SSI go into our gas tanks, we want to punish someone! Lots of ‘someones’!
