Almost

And besides voting for Senator Obama, I'm voting No on 8. You can rant and rave all you want, but until you change the Constitution, discrimination for ANY reason is unconstitutional. Why waste your time and money with these foolish initiatives? If you're a 'believer' in this initiative, you should be busy trying to get a constitutional amendment passed instead of bothering us with these initiatives every few years.

  1. You should be able to marry anyone? how about your dad? or your sister? Why not? because some things are still wrong. Marriage still means a man and a woman committing to creating a family, providing those kids with mother and father's influences.

  2. I'm sorry...but that's really dumb. Did I mention marriage at all? As I said, if you believe the way you do, you need to be working on a constitutional amendment. Are you?

i totally agree steven. there is nothing "wrong" with marrying someone who you love. someone who is not your blood relative. why should someone try and stop two people who love each other from living publicity in a loving, committed relationship with all the rights that everyone else gets. i guess there will always be a group of people that is discriminated against. it's sad that we can't all grow up.

If the federal courts in San Francisco respected the voters first constitutional initiative, this wouldn't be an issue, but they are so liberal as to believe that they are right regardless of law, consitution, or precedence. Why this circuit court is allowed to create such havoc on the social and legal institutions is unbelievable? They are the single most overturned court and yet we still listen to them and allow them to influence us. The worst that good people could do is to do nothing. Yeah for the brave who are willing to fight the insidious 9th circuit court! Yeah for those willing to continue to fight for institutions that make sense!

  5. Why do I even allow 'anonymous' comments? It only brings out the flakes.

What is it you don't understand about the Constitution? Obviously plenty.

Liberal? You bet! And I'm a socialist as well! Those are the people that have respect for the Constitution.

Wow. Perhaps you don't realize this, but Proposition 8 WAS a constitutional amendment. Looks like you missed it.

  7. 'Anonymous' again...what's with these people? They don't have names?

To clarify; the constitution I refer to is the U.S. Constitution, the one that the states must follow and the one that will overthrow Prop 8.

Now get a name... and a life!
