I just finished President Carter’s book, Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid. All in all a very good read. And I must admit that I have some added respect for Carter because he was able to contain his anger. And I’m also disappointed in him because of that! The book showed me that diplomacy is often just a thin blanket that is tossed over great tragedies so that we aren’t discomforted by the actual sight of it.
