And the first headline I see this morning is all about the use of steroids by the so-called athletes of baseball. After two years of investigation! Now that the confirmation of steroid use is finally out there for all to see, will the ‘fans’ do the right thing and avoid the major league ball parks as they should? Or will it be another ho-hum moment? Although the owners and the players did their best to foil the investigation, the ‘fans’ won't see that as a problem and will never give up their idol worship. Odds are it will soon be forgotten.
And at the local level, I will be busy all day, working at the parish hall, loading boxes of food for those residents of the Planet Orland that need some help this year. Unfortunately, that number is now over 365, countywide.
