California

mandates testing every eighth-grader in algebra -- ready or not

Fact. Personality Types determine whether or not you will understand algebra as it is taught to a classroom. Not 'brain power'. Until that is understood, you will have failures...

"I don't think I was prepared. I think they just, like, pushed me into algebra. . . . Math was like a different language I never understood. I felt hopeless."

Exactly. But the 'state' must be served.

  1. I'm a member of Mensa but I failed high school algebra.

  2. I know the feeling. I received a D-. But that was because the teacher didn't want to see me again. The next year, I took geometry and received a B+.
