You might think that Americans would be embarrassed by this story...but you would be wrong.

"a picker would have to fill 15 32-pound buckets an hour to earn Florida’s minimum wage of $6.79—a tall order in the broiling sun." That's 480 pounds an hour or 3,840 per day. Close to two tons.
