I just read about the increase in the ten year estimate of the national debt...now it will be $9 trillion dollars. Hey! Let's make an even $10 trillion as that is what it will be after we get bogged down in the Afghan War. Doesn't anyone read their history books? Anyone? Afghanistan has defeated the worlds largest forces since recorded history began. Why and how are we going to change that? If you want to change Afghanistan, you have to do it with aid and education, not bombs. But, I'm talking to myself...
Another thought; didn't we have a surplus in the national debt when Dubya took over? Yes we did. Now, eight and a half years later we have his mess to clean up. Can we bill him for it?
