It’s Friday and the end of the week. That was quick. And certainly faster than I was hoping for. But on the positive side, it is one week closer to an election and the end of the ‘lipstick on pigs’ controversy. Is McSame nuts? That’s OK; you don’t have to answer that question.
With just one cup of coffee downed, I can already tell you that it is a beautiful day out there. I have to rely on instinct about that as it’s still quite dark outside, but I’m certain that once the sun shines, we will have yet another glorious day here on the Planet Orland. A place where we would normally have had .02 inches of rain by this date. Well, it won’t happen today. Or for the rest of the week.
I was reading the Crabby Old Lady this morning and she was griping about the ‘Active Aging’ movement. I guess it’s our lack of television and the fact that we live on the Planet Orland that has made this phenomena invisible to us. I’m glad.
I am definitely of the opinion that as an elder, I have earned the right to do as I darned well please. If indolence is my goal after 50+ years of working, then so be it. Go away. I’m napping.
