Travel Fun

Laura Bush travels to Afghanistan…and buried in the article is the fact that she was there for 6 hours. Doesn’t anyone think that just might be wrong? 6 hours… why not make it 3 hours? Better yet, one hour. As long as you’re wasting dollars and endangering innocent people with this publicity stunt, why prolong it for such an interminable amount of time…all of 6 hours.

Do they send Laura because she is somehow immune to criticism?

  1. Better yet you go there and do something for the people and stop judging others. Careful of the log in your eye.

  2. I can see quite well. And what I see is quite obvious...political games were being played with this visit. Laura helping the people of Iraq? Not even!

  3. I'm glad you can see into a persons heart. I absolutley lack that capability. Just trying to keep you honest Steve. Have a terrific weekend!

  4. These comments of mine and Laura's trip had this much in common; neither one had anything to do with heart or vision. Laura was sent to Afghanistan make a newsworthy moment. She touched nobody's life...she did not speak to anyone outside of a selected few and in a carefully guarded setting. There were no poor women there. It was a calculated publicity stunt. But thanks for the good wishes...may your weekend be blessed as well.
