My old e-mail address is now history. swdunn@jps.net was used for about 10 years and that is a long time in this era of rapid change. JPS Net was a small provider in Roseville that was bought up by a larger one and in turn that provider was bought by Earthlink. The address stayed the same and I was grateful for that. But now that I have satellite internet service, the Earthlink service was redundant and so they are gone. Why was I so attached to that address? It’s just a collection of 6 letters, arranged to specify a user. OK, change is good! (And my mailbox won’t have so much junk in it.)
