Did I mention that I’m looking for a cat? Yes, we need a cat around here to catch the mice and scare away the ground squirrels. I don’t think a cat can catch a ground squirrel, but I may be wrong. I put out traps for the mice, but they are talented enough to nibble the bait so delicately that the trap never snaps shut on them. I did see a television ad for a new trap that looks promising, one from Decon that looks like a large hockey puck. It has a door in the side of it and when the mouse trips it after entering, the outer wall of the “puck” revolves, closing off all escape. Now you simply throw the trap away …could this be the “better mouse trap” that the world is always looking for? I’ll let you know.
nope..tried that kind....glue traps are the only way to go...I called to tell you about the kittys at Raleys the other day...very cute...but mom said she would have a cow if you got a cat...
