Surprised?

"The top climate scientist at NASA says the Bush administration has tried to stop him from speaking out since he gave a lecture last month calling for prompt reductions in emissions of greenhouse gases linked to global warming."

  1. It doesn't suprise me that politics has infected science. I am saddened that the right has gone the way of the left in politicizing this issue.

The problem is that the left in this country has tried to use the environment, animal rights, etc. as vehicles to further a socialist to communist agenda. The reaction by the right has been just as dramatic and unfortunatley good scientist are being quieted and ignored.

My brother was part of the eco-movement. I remember the first book he gave me to read after his conversion was nothing more than how to use environmental issues to further socialism. He has since come to his sense and like me he trust neither the left or right on issues of science.

Bush is on the wrong side of science here, just like Gore.
