Just Do It!

From the CSM…
“Hizbullah seen as tougher foe than expected

Heavy casualties, lack of 'significant victory' has some in Israeli military concerned.”

Well, nuke ‘em! That’ll show them.

Oh, oh…I forgot. Israel won’t admit that it has nuclear weapons.

“What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.”

  1. Steve, again you do understand the problem Israel is having is not militarily, they could wipe Lenanon off the face of the map with conventional weapons. The problem they face is politics. Their are political concerns. Israel does not want a world war. Now right wing American protestants, that is another story.

  2. "Israel does not want a world war"
Maybe, but they are engaged in one right now. And because of their excesses, they are losing. Being joined at the hip with the Pentagon, you would have thought they might have learned something from our experiences in Iraq.

  3. Losing? Is that hope I read in your comment? I don't see them losing at all. I seem them being restrained at their peril. It's almost funny how the left wants a hands off approach to Iraq but wants us pulling the stirngs of Israel. Typical leftist insanity.

  4. Oh, the war is already lost. They can win every battle but they will surely lose the war. Just as we have...

Thought to ponder...name a war that was won, forever and ever. Nope, just battles.

  5. Ah Steve but winning is just half the battle....(okay that was pathetic) It is keeping the peace (or waging peace as Pres. Clinton was fond of saying) that is the toughest long term aim of war.

WWII is over and we no longer fight Italy, Japan, or Germany.

War is a part of the human
predisposition to walk apart from the image in which we were created. There was even a war in heaven for Pete's sake. The angels weren't even free from division.

Except for the war in heaven I don't think there has ever been a war with real winners.
