I guess you both can be thankful God didn't make you like him,i.e. Pres. Bush.
I love liberal tolerance........
What is pathetic is that the Huffington Post is so desperate to have readers that once you subscribe no matter how many times you try to unsubscribe they won't do it.
I was directing that more to the Huffington contributor. It has always interested me when people who disagree with others assume it is because the other person is an idiot. I have come to believe that people's brains function in different way's that the environment they grow up in and life experiences influence ideology. My grandparents love the democratic party because it represents them. They do not like gay's, blacks, muslims, people on welfare, religious people and on and on. I understand that they are wrong but that they come from a different time with different experiences. It isn't an excuse but it helps me to understand that they are not idiots, they actually give me an oppritunity to share with my daughter (who thinks the world is perfect and everyone loves God) that the world is a complicated place and that we need to love people, especially our adversaries (whom we pray for almost daily).
I don't think the definition of tolerance is the ability not to harm or injure someone.
How uncharitable........
