Just In...

A federal judge on Thursday ruled that the U.S. government's domestic eavesdropping program is unconstitutional and ordered it ended immediately...
The defendants "are permanently enjoined from directly or indirectly utilizing the Terrorist Surveillance Program (TSP) in any way, including, but not limited to, conducting warrantless wiretaps of telephone and Internet communications, in contravention of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and Title III," she wrote.
She further declared that the program "violates the separation of powers doctrine, the Administrative Procedures Act, the First and Fourth amendments to the United States Constitution, the FISA and Title III."
(OK, now can we impeach him?)

And isn't it odd that we don't hear a lot of support for Bush these days? Most people are sort of quiet, hoping that it might be forgotten that they were once rabid Bush fans.

Oh sure, there will always be a fan or two. Incredibly, even today, there are Nixon supporters, but their numbers dwindle. Nixon, Reagan, Bush...all will be revealed for what they truly were in time.

  1. You sound like you are hopeful. That seems odd. I would hope that history reveals good about our leaders regardless of their party label.

    You have a ideological bias Steve. Don't let it keep you blind to the thoughts and beliefs of others. This idea that people who aren't "progressive" by your standard or others doesn't mean they are dumb or idiots or hateful, etc.

    How about some Shakespeare

    Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears;
    I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him;
    The evil that men do lives after them,
    The good is oft interréd with their bones,
    So let it be with Caesar….
