Let's see now, it's been close to 50 years now since Castro took power in Cuba and still we persecute the Cuban people in some vain effort to punish Fidel. Our president just came back from a trip to Vietnam...where a communist nation still exists, one that whipped us in a war that we never should have started. And we're talking about major trade agreements with the Vietnamese. China has been a communist nation for how long? And it's Wal-Mart's largest supplier of goods. So what are we trying to prove by maintaining this isolation of a small (very small) island nation? Wouldn't it make sense to welcome them into our embrace and kill them with kindness? The Bay of Pigs was a mistake...we lost... get over it!
