Idle thoughts

Strange weather once again. It was supposed to rain yesterday but the clouds sailed over us in a stiff breeze and then collected against the foothills to release their moisture. Nothing wrong with that! Today is supposed to be partly cloudy and about the mid 50’s. And although it’s chilly this morning, I’m trying to cut back on the use of the firewood; we’re about halfway through our supply and we still have at least two months of potential need for a fire. Maybe I can look for firewood on Craigslist? We spent $275 for the first cord of wood we bought and somehow the thought of spending $550 for the season seems extravagant. Not that gas heat isn’t…
