I wonder if the health care system will be “fixed” in my lifetime? And I wonder when it broke? I know it was working well in the 1960’s and 70’s; a time when our children were born. Thank goodness! Insurance then was both affordable and transparent. I was simply a carpenter and I was able to buy a house and afford to have three wonderful children and healthcare; all at the same time! Was that a bad thing?
What changed? One thing that changed was our governor and later, our president. Of course he gets the blame; Reagan’s rule embodied all of the petty meanness of the conservative movement.
