Sad

A sad day. Molly Ivins has died. I’m not sure where I can go now for a bit of comic relief from the political wars; for Molly always knew how to give me that. But, who could possibly replace her? Nope! Can't be done.

Do you remember the story of the Emperor’s new clothes? In that story, the little boy was the hero as he finally (and loudly) said what everyone knew, but were afraid to say…the Emperor had no clothes on! Well, it was Molly Ivins job to be that little boy in real life, and whenever Karl and Dick dressed up the Emperor in clothing made with little substance, she was quick to notice and to let us all know, that once again…the Emperor had no clothes on!
