Hmm? How odd; the big printer seems to be talking to itself this morning. It’s making all sorts of odd chirps and whirr’s. Parts are moving around inside and the menu screen is lit up. Silence. And then it starts again. And it‘s a printer that’s connected to another computer, not to mine. Ghosts?
“An arms-sale package that the U.S. is planning to offer Persian Gulf allies has been delayed because of objections from Israel.”
That sounds like something we need more of…weapons in the Persian Gulf. Some previous arms sales were to Iraq in the 80’s; Iran during the 80’s and we know how all of those sales came back to haunt us. Making the world safe for democracy or? Yes, it is all about money!
My sister sent me to a new web site called StumbleUpon. Very fascinating! Of course I joined. I wish I could tell you that the signup procedure was simple; it isn’t. I tried signing up on their site and was quickly bumped over to the Mozilla site…and then back? But if you persevere you can find your way. And it seems to work with IE as well as Firefox.
I was also given a link to a free book site, “ http://www.fullbooks.com/ Full text – free books” This is a good one! It’s not a flashy site at all. Simply old books.
Something to note; the news has been filled with stories about the leading presidential candidates. Not stories about how they intend to be the best president ever and how they will fix this or that in our society…but stories about how much money each has raised so far in the campaign. It’s really an old story rewritten. It is exactly how we have chosen our presidents for I don’t know how long. 30? 40? 50 years? … And look at how well it has worked
