12 feet and higher

I’ve just spent a few hours working at eradicating the moss on the north side of the Senior Center roof. Scariest part was getting up on the roof. Or; maybe it was the getting off of the roof that was scariest? Either way, I’m upset that I seem to have lost my ability to feel secure when working at some insignificant height. (Aging!) I was never a daring person on a scaffold and I respected the danger inherent in construction work. And respect usually meant that you wouldn’t fall and so I worked carefully for many years without a mishap. But I wasn’t nervous during those times. (OK, maybe a few times...) Now I’m nervous when I get 6 feet off of the ground. What's that all about? And is there a cure?
