Wrong Address

I get mail...lots and lots of mail!

Here is a sample from one of the messages I get from Mormon missionaries to Trinidad via my Gmail account. They even included an Excel file.

Dear President Dunn,

Here is my petty cash to date. Should I wait for the elders' gas and power bill to scan for you or do you need it for this report. I have lost the phone bill and our departure receipt. I will do better next time. Elder Wood”

I have been getting these kinds of messages for the past few months. I have responded a dozen times and told them to remove my name from their address books; that they have the wrong ‘Dunn’. But they ignore me and continue to send them. And it’s not just one person, that wrong address has been spread throughout their group. I did reply to that last message with this one, “Don’t worry about it. Take the money and have a good time. Buy some champagne. Buy some lottery tickets. Live a little!....NOW TAKE MY NAME OFF YOUR ADDRESS LIST!”

I wonder if they did? I can tell you that after a day, they sent me the scan of the gas and power bill. Duh! You've probably heard that Mormon missionaries are persistent. I can attest to that fact.
