Secret...for now

The headlines are all about the commutation of ‘Scooter’s’ sentence. It’s too bad that Ms Hilton didn’t know the Decider; she might have received a better deal. But…it’s really not news; did anyone really assume that Mr. Libby would do jail time? No one in the White House wanted Mr. Libby to start trash talking after he had spent a few sleepless nights in the slammer. This commutation assures that his lips will be sealed for at least the duration of the Decider’s term. I guess we will have to wait for the book. In the spring of 09’. Look for it.

It was a big day for peaches yesterday. And there may be more ripening on Wednesday. The Red Haven peach tree is ugly and certainly crippled; branches missing and the remaining ones are twisted and bent. But it certainly produces great peaches and a lot of them. I’m putting in some more trees this winter, a threesome, and the Red Haven will be one of the three. Now I need to decide on the other two; a mid season tree and one for the late season. I guess I don’t have to decide now; I will have more than a few winter evening to look through the nursery catalogs before deciding.
