Neighbors
Laurae had never seen this development, so we took a driving tour through it yesterday afternoon. Colorful. Cute. But is it liveable? Despite the number of porches, complete with swings and chairs, not one was occupied by a human.
Nope. Not for me.
I like the concept and the thought that developers are trying something different, but would like to see more "green" developments that really use some innovative ideas. I do like the alley way access for garages and it's too bad everyone has to work to afford a house with a porch. No one to sit outside when they are working.
ReplyDeleteAnother note. Here is a link to a development in Tucson. I wish it was in Phoenix and there are no excuses why there could not be something like this. http://www.armoryparkdelsol.com/index.htm
ReplyDeleteArmory Park. Great idea and follow through. Net Zero! What a concept...
ReplyDeleteNow if Doe Mill could use some of those energy ideas, they would have something.
