When I woke up; which is about 10 minutes after my first sip of coffee, I had a premonition of disaster, a nagging worry that something was about to go dreadfully wrong. OK, another 10 minutes have passed and nothing has happened so far, but I should follow up on this feeling and make certain that everything is backed up. I have
And wouldn’t it be great if automobile salesmen, computer dealers and technology could be merged? You know how a car salesman will tell you, “You can drive this baby home and put it in your driveway this afternoon!” Wouldn’t that be great if new computers could be ‘driven’ the same day you bought them?

Six months of wading through old backups, searching for lost data to use in new programs; programs that are almost like your old ones, but not quite. Critically, not quite the same.
And your web browser; will you ever get it back? With all of your ‘cookies’, passwords and Favorites intact? No. It simply won’t happen. It’s true; we can land a man on the moon, but we cannot sell you a new computer without a major and very unpleasant disruption of your life. You’ll never be the same again.
