Chaos. I was thinking about that word this morning as the ‘usual’ didn’t happen. The ditch is only about half full and the vacation replacement for the ditch tender called at 5 dark thirty to ask me what he was supposed to do. What? But, as I trudged up the path, past the barking dogs, I thought, chaos is the natural order. All of life is chaos. Nature is chaotic. God created chaos in the world. And it’s how we react to chaos that makes us different. This is where the personality types (MBTI) differ. Half a dozen types, including INFP, welcome chaos and see it as natural. Half a dozen others, including ISFJ, see it as a threat and do their best to control it. To structure and plan. Hmmm? Further thought. Since chaos is natural; I guess you could label it as ‘organic’. And organic is good; right? We win!
