From my vantage point here in the study, I can see that the stars are out and that means the storm has passed us by. It’s actually quite warm this morning; if any snow fell in the mountains, it was quite high. Once the sun is up, I can access the Northeastern California traffic cameras and see for myself if there is any snowfall worthy of mention. And you should always take a look at the Pit River Bridge cam, just to see if there has been any progress at all on the bridge. As I remember it, there’s has been a crew working on that bridge for the past 100 years and it always looks the same. The only things that change are the ages of the laborers on the project. OK, maybe I exaggerated about the 100 years, but it has been a long time.

The internet isn’t giving me a lot of news this morning; too much of the same old thing and far too predictable. Although I did enjoy the news that Mr. Thompson fell flat in his debut as a full-fledged Republican candidate/debater. I guess he needs a re-write of the script. Take 2. Action!

I guess I had better read the blogs if I want some insight or something fresh to read. And here’s something interesting; a new poll on youth and Christianity. Sad, but predictable. “Common negative perceptions include that present-day Christianity is judgmental (87%), hypocritical (85%), old-fashioned (78%), and too involved in politics (75%) - …” WWJD?
