I’m really disjointed and perplexed this morning. Wandering about the internet without a plan. I can’t seem to focus on much of anything. Oh, it’s all very interesting and I’m sure a lot of the information will stick in my head somewhere.
And in my wanderings, I made a short trip to BoardFirst.com and found that they were no longer in business. That was the website that would get you an ‘A’ boarding pass from Southwest Airlines for only $5. A bargain! So, now what do I do next week when I want to secure my early boarding passes for our flight to Anaheim/Disneyland? Do I have to get up at
I guess I will spend some time posting to my other blogs; they have been neglected lately. And I need to find out what’s the problem with the Shelfari app. It doesn’t seem to work because Blogger blocks it as a ‘popup’. Well, it’s a Beta product, so I may not be able to fix it at all.
Since I was a pretty regular user of Boardfirst.com, I got an email from them the day before they shut the door. They asked that I send a protest letter to the chairman of Southwest and gave me his email address. Boardfirst says that Southwest will soon start charging for their "A" tickets. When they saw she could make a living from their boarding procedures, they saw a way to make an extra buck themselves. So that may be the future way to secure and A ticket.
