A busy day for me. Starting at 7. And it will be a busy week as we finalize the moving of the Orland Seniors Thrift Store to its new location. Being on the board of directors’ gives you privileges, such as being allowed to tote box after box, and even more dusty boxes, from the old store to the new one. It’s only next door, so it won’t be too bad.
I also have to climb up on the overhang in front of the store and paint over the old ‘Flo’s Janitorial Supplies’ sign, in preparation for the new sign. But what will it be? Not everyone, but a majority of the board wants to get rid of the word ‘senior’ in our new sign. And that’s a good sign! I have come up with 3rd Second Time’s a Charm and Twice Upon a Time. I’m still looking!
