Trust?

I began the day with a reading of the ‘abbreviated news’ and then moved on to the blogs. Time Goes By had something different, a posting on the dangers of a bill now in committee in the Senate. (Read about it here) What I see as dangerous about the bill is the liberal use of ‘weasel words’ throughout. Such as, …individuals should not be targeted based solely on race, ethnicity, or religion.” Should not? What’s wrong with using the words, ‘shall not’? Simple. Shall not means no. Absolutely no. Should not can mean anything you like. And that’s the way they want it. Flexible. And that should scare you to death! Do you really trust your leaders enough to give them unlimited 'flexibility'? These are the same people that have a less than 30% approval rating from the voters.
