Which is it?

Lots of reading and not much writing going on this morning. I got hooked early and began reading blogs before the news. Not that there is much difference between the two. It’s not as if the news media presents only the raw facts for you to read without any personal bias. A news story is simply a well edited blog posting. Meaning that they used a spell checker and a bit of good grammar. Every news media corporation has an agenda. Count on it.

It’s the political bloggers that could use a little spell checking. No matter what side of the political spectrum they rant from, most of these bloggers never look back at what they have written. ‘Errors be damned! I have a story to get out...” and those who comment on those blogs are much the same. All, so filled with a righteous fervor that they can’t bother with spelling anytng rite. Or corectly.

I like to think that I’m in a classier group of bloggers. Yes, I make spelling and grammar errors, but I feel bad about it when I discover it. Sometimes I see the mistakes a week later and go back to fix them, although they certainly have been read by all who might normally read them. Classier or neurotic?
