Book Review:

Global Warning

It sounds great, but I'm so opinionated! C'mon...a Reader's Digest book? I automatically think 'condensed'. And it looks more like a coffee table book. Nothing wrong with that, except it trivializes it for me. 'Serious' books don't go on the coffee table.

But, I could be wrong...

You probably see a lot of these type books given to the library when you volunteer. It does make it a little offensive to sell a coffee table book with the environmental "hook" but if it spreads awareness to those that need their info in visual bites (like I sometimes do)then I think it's great. I do love pictures but the facts seem to get lost. Do you have a coffee table?

  2. Why, yes we do... and it's currently littered with magazines and books, both serious and not so serious.

Of course I covered myself with a disclaimer..."I could be wrong"
