and It Actually Makes the News
So rare. We're all victims of this. I was watching TV a month or so ago, hoping to see my daughter on the news, and I was startled by the number of 'crime' stories that were being played up as if we were in the midst of a cultural breakdown. Terror in the streets! Not.
Since we don't watch television or read the local newspapers, it was quite easy to see through the media hysteria and see this kind of reporting for what it was...an attempt to gain viewers by sensationalism. And THAT should be a crime.
