A Drop in the Bucket

Life goes on. And with a 101 things to do. This task overloading happens every few months and then it takes a momentous amount of willpower to overcome my natural inertia and accomplish what needs to be done.

Big news story. Right near the end of the presidents’ news conference, there was the usual spontaneous combustion of the presidential pants. Unfortunately, this time they were unable to contain the fire quickly and the lectern was destroyed, though smoke damage to the room was minimal. This marks the 3,477th time that his pants have been destroyed by flames. Cost to replace the pants has now reached $154,000 according the GAO.
