Afterwards...

I’ve finished up with my walking for the day and just in time. The high winds arrived about 9:30 and they have been creating havoc across this part of the valley ever since. When they started I had already finished my cup of coffee at Cal-Java (My reward) and I had scanned the newspaper for any news I might have missed earlier in the day. And anyone walking by my table would have seen a well connected guy. I had my earphones in place as I listened to Fresh Air. I had my GPS unit on my wrist to record my current location and any speed I might develop while sitting and I had my Palm TX connected and receiving email from my sister in Arizona.
