All you need to know...

And Glenn County hasn't gotten around to counting the 'vote by mail' ballots. Lassen has.

  1. What can I say, we are amazing. I haven't seen my bed in three days, but that's okay...

What is alarming to me is that when we had a lull between voting precincts coming in (because the centers can no longer transmit through the dedicated fax lines - thanks Ms. Bowen and her hairbrained "scientists"), I checked MSN and although we had only 3 precincts reporting at that time - they declared Clinton victorious in California. What the heck?!? And people wonder why citizens don't think their votes count!!!

Vote-by-mail ballots account for almost half of our voters, and they are all counted FIRST on election night.

That's why they hired you; you're tough! Thanks for sticking to your post through the nights and days and nights and days and...

But, Ms. Bowen seems to have quite a few more fans than she has detractors. I do understand that there is faction in Lassen Co. that's not at all happy with her, but that seems to be an isolated case.

People always say that their vote doesn't count when their candidate loses. It's human nature. But it really doesn't count if you can't have a piece of paper to prove you voted and to allow for recounts. You can't 're-count' a machine that only knows how to add.

And since you're in the voting business, what's the story about Oregon? (The vote-by-mail state) Did they have any problems? I didn't hear or read of any.
