Later

What’s that all about? Dreams upon dreams and then I slept for about 8 hours; 2 hours more than normal for me. A fragment of one of the dreams; I was at a funeral and everyone was wearing dark purple ‘mourning’ robes. Provided by the funeral directors. You arrived for the funeral and then told them your size. Hmm? Maybe that’s a business model that I could peddle to funeral directors. (No, I have no idea who died in my dream)

Back in the real world, I have had a chance to read a few headlines and this one, Will Delegate Duel Hurt Dems? ABC News caught my attention. True, I’m no longer a Democrat, having given up ‘party’ politics about 4 years ago, but I can see a real problem with this ‘Super Delegate’ scheme. If the Democrats were looking for a way to shoot themselves in the foot, the Super Delegates are a loaded gun. The McBush’s have to love this!

And then there was this one…Bush says McCain will stay the course in Iraq. The course? Perhaps John could define that course for us. Bush certainly hasn’t been able to. It probably doesn’t matter though, as we can always blame the citizens of Iraq for any failures on our part. I heard a commentator the other day that was talking about the failure of the Iraqi people to ‘step up to the plate’. Of course after you have had your country bombed back to the Stone Age, it may be tough to find that plate amidst the rubble.

Some new posts on Working.
