What a ride! But I’m really tired of watching the Dow Jones Index. I suppose it’s exciting for some people, but I’m not one of them. Slow and steady is what I’m all about.
And as for the money I’ve lost so far; I can only blame one person. OK, to be fair, make that a bunch of people…but they all live and work in the same place. On
Locally, it looks like our ‘false’ spring is over with, starting today. The forecast looks more like a true spring, with a chance of hail on Saturday,
“Thunderstorms on Saturday may contain small hail and gusty winds. High temperatures will struggle to get out of the 50s by Saturday.”
I hate hail. We lost most of our apricots a few years ago when a thunderstorm cell parked itself over our little orchard and destroyed the blossoms and the small apricots with a blast of hail. It even stripped the leaves from trees and shrubs.
And I’m not very happy with the news that Admiral Fallon is retiring prematurely. He was the sane voice among the crazies. Will anyone take his place? One can only hope that he will be even more outspoken once he sheds his uniform.
