It’s Spring and it’s time for some speeches; Senator Obama gave us one yesterday. An excellent one. Today, bush will give us one as well. Of course the speech has been written and released ahead of time, so that the party faithful can study it and practice applauding at the appropriate moments. It’s already guaranteed to be the 2008 version of the ‘Mission Accomplished’ speech. Of course he will give the speech in the safety of the Pentagon, where no dissenting voices will be heard. Hail to the Chief!
