It never fails. (OK, maybe once in awhile it does...but not often) Time Goes By has another thought provoking article of interest to elders. The book she is commenting on, “The Longevity Revolution: The Benefits and Challenges of Living a Long Life” is going to be one that I will need to read. I tried to find a Google Book link for here, but it’s too recent a book. Check out the link and the story on her blog.
One fact that struck me from her story was that the number of elders would just about double in the next 17 years. (I'll only be 84) Don’t you think that with those kinds of numbers in the marketplace, we would get some respect? Doubtful. We might get double the number of jokes about aging though. Disturbing.
