Senate

Republicans block climate bill -

John Engler, a former Michigan governor who heads the National Association of Manufacturers, said economic studies showed the bill "would have resulted in significant job losses across our nation, lower household incomes and increase the cost of gasoline and electricity."

Sort of like a war in the Middle East might do, right?

Pretty soon it will be too late for our government to do anything about the climate. I just watched the movie "Everythings Cool", a
summary of what has happened or not happened since the first warnings of global warming in 1989. Netflix it and let me know what you think of it.

  2. We may never be able to change the climate, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't try. It simply makes sense to do something positive for a change; that's something that the senators don't seem to understand.

I'll put the movie on order.
