Bad Hair Day

Kitty sent me a CD with about 86 old Kodachrome or Ektachrome slides that had been scanned and converted to jpg’s on it. These were slides she had found in a box and had looked promising to her. They certainly were. What fun!

Most were family photos from 1949; taken during a time when a family friend had shown up with a 35mm camera. In the photos I was just 9 years old while Julie was 6. Kitty was the baby at 2 and a half. Since the photos only show the subjects and no details that might reveal the era that they were taken in, they could have been taken yesterday; if yesterday had been Thanksgiving. One clue that the photos were old might have been the bad haircuts. I hope my parents didn’t tip the barber!

On an entirely different subject; I suppose I could comment on the record delay for obtaining a state budget, but why? It’s political theater at its worst and deserves no more mention than this. What bozo’s they all are!
