Same old, same old, here. Wednesday and it’s time to irrigate the orchard. In the dark at 6 AM. September is that bittersweet month that reminds us that the times, they are a changing! And the changes seem to accelerate in September. Summer is almost over and it’s time to look in closet for sweatshirts and sweaters. Don’t have to put them on yet, but you might want to make sure they are there. Washed and folded.

Another chore for the day will be the continued reading of The Dark Side by Jane Mayer. It’s a fascinating book, but the subject matter is so disturbing that I can only read about the crimes of the Bush&Co, administration for about 20 or 30 minutes at a time before I have to switch to a murder mystery for some relief. It’s definitely recommended reading! (I would love to see this as required reading in high schools.)
