Yes, it is Palin that’s running for president. You’re a fool if you think you’re voting for McCain. And I can say that because I’m old. (Anyone under the age of 60 is not allowed to say it; it’s ageism!) The last time we elected a president this old; he was already showing signs of senile dementia/Alzheimer. Do we really want that?
And Crabby Old Lady brings up a good point or two this morning. If nothing else, we need to think about Social Security when voting. Palin/McCain will try their best to dump this program that is saving the lives of countless elders today. And it will be the only salvation for the next generation to hit retirement. I don’t remember where I found the quote, but it is appropriate… “If it wasn’t for FDR and Social Security, I would be living with my Republican children.”
