Motivated, Laurae and I went outside and did some harvesting of our own. Pomegranates!
We have persimmons, but our are the other kind, Hachiya's, and they won't be ripe for another month or so.
The green things in the wheel barrow? Apples.
And this how the trees looked after we picked...
Oh my goodness! Those look great.... Our persimmons won't be ready until sometime in Nov/Dec...

ReplyDeleteWe drink pomegrante juice every night before bed.... I'm thinking it must take alot of pomegrantes to make a bottle of juice!...
ReplyDeleteAnd you need a food mill to prepare the juice properly...you have to avoid the pith because it's bitter. Or just buy it in a bottle and not worry. Probably easier that way.
